Siraha duo escape kidnappers' clutches

SIRAHA, Sept 26: 
Two persons abducted from Kajrawat, Jijhol-8 of Siraha late Tuesday night have managed to escape unhurt from the clutches of the kidnappers Wednesday morning.



Krishna Dev Yadav, 37, and Gajendra Yadav had been abducted by an armed unidentified gang, while they were on their way home. [break]



Gajendra came into police contact at 2 and Krishna at 3 this morning. Although the duo managed to escape, the motorbike (BR 32 AF 0774) they were riding on during the time of the incident is still under the kidnapper’s control, informed district police office, Siraha.



According to Gajendra, a gang of more than a dozen members were waiting for them to come when they reached the spot.



The gang then stopped the bike and took under control Krishna and Gajendra at gunpoint, said Siraha police chief, Bikram Gurung.



Gajendra, who escaped first, after reaching the village informed police patrol about the incident.



According to Krishna Dev, the abductors were taking him to India but he managed to run away while crossing the border.
