Kunwar has posted a written clarification and apologized that his previous announcement has caused misunderstanding between him and his audience. The post of Kunwar reads, “Today, I have gathered all my honesty to come in-front of you and say this. Always driven by multiple emotions, this strange habit of posting random stuff has become a major part of my career. Friends and family, even some of my supporters have intervened me to keep cool with these things. I always sort of neglected them until it came from my mother.”
He added, “Now it’s high time that I accept what’s done and improve myself. Most of you might be familiar with my post nearly two years ago. It stated that my Nepali music journey has come to conclusion for a change. This post caused so many people to raise questions at me. There was a misunderstanding between me and my audience since they perceived that I was quitting music; which is really not true. I wanted to make it bigger. I haven’t announced officially but this decision was a boost to my biggest inspiration in life, my father who passed away the same month. That phase was really tragic for my family.”
Kunwar continued, “Also, my youtube channel stopped working. But time heals everything and now, I have come to realize that this is my duty to apologize to all my loyal supporters. Maybe I was lost internally and needed some guidance. There’s no doubt that my goals are still valid and my vision is always strong. Whenever I reach in life, I’m going to represent my people. But with all due respect, I’m sorry that I let my supporters down in some way. This wasn’t my intention. I have learnt my lesson now. Years have passed without performing on stage. I believe the time has come now. Before climbing up, like every performer pays his/her regards to the stage, I want to pay my regards to the people who have made me one. Someday, we will be spreading our message and music to the whole world.”
He said, “Before that, I want to let you all know that I’m gonna sing for my people first. Doesn’t matter which language, which genre or which country. What matters to me is unity. With this statement, let me answer all your unanswered questions and close the old chapter. Still there might be fingers pointing at me but let me make that I’m at peace with my decisions.”
