SIFCL, EFL sign merger pact

KATHMANDU, Dec 27: Shree Investment and Finance Company Ltd (SIFCL) and Everest Finance Ltd (EFL) have merger agreement. The two finance companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding for merger at a ceremony held in Kathmandu, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

“With this merger, capital, profit, efficiency and service will be be bigger which will increase people's confidence toward the institution,” the statement added. SIFCL Chairman Rabindra Raj Pandey and EFL Chairman Govinda Ballabh signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
