KATHMANDU, Feb 9: Nepal number one Shiva Ram Shrestha took the lead after the second round in Golfer Pilots NPGA Classic, the sixth event of Surya Nepal Golf Tour, at par-68 Royal Nepal Golf Club on Thursday.
Shrestha carded four-under 64 for the 36-hole total score of seven-under 129. Bhuwan Nagarkoti shot one-over 69 to slip to second at two-under 134. Rame Magar also played 69 to remain at third position with the score of one-under 135.

Dhana Bahadur Thapa shot two-over 70 and was fourth at one-over 37, while Sanjay Lama was fifth at 138 after he played even-par 68. Bhuwan Kumar Rokka (69), Rabi Khadka (71) and Surya Prasad Sharma shared the sixth at three-over 139. Jayaram Shrestha (72) was ninth at 141, while Pradeep Kumar Lama (71) was 10th at 144.
In the amateur section, Binod Tamang and Subash Ghising shared the lead at five-over 141. Tamang played even-par 68 and Ghising shot two-over 70. Navaraj Chaulagain (73) is third at 12-over 148. Pratima Sherpa had a Hole-in-One on 12th hole on her way to playing 14-over 82.
