Sherpa held for pelting stone at parliamentarian's vehicle

Kathmandu, Nov 13: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Circle, Bouddha held a person for pelting stone at the vehicle of Ganesh Dulal, a parliamentarian from the Province-3.

A police squad deputed from the metropolitan police range arrested Pasang Dorje Sherpa, 20, of Udayapur. He was allegedly involved in throwing stones at the moving vehicle (Ba 19 Cha 498) of the lawmaker nearby Bouddha Mahangkal Panityanki at Kathmandu Metropolis-6. 


Metropolitan Police Office Spokesperson Pooja Singh informed that Sherpa was taken under control for pelting stone targeting the vehicle where parliamentarian Dulal was travelling to. 

In the incident, the front screen of the vehicle of the parliamentarian was smashed and another vehicle (Ba 3 Cha 9719) alongside also saw cracks in its front screen. Police also seized Sherpa's motorbike (Ba 44 Pa 2771), Spokesperson Singh informed. RSS
