Wicket-keeper batsman Vealeshwaran Athiappan scored the highest 31 runs for the losing side. Neville Liyanage was the pick of the Kuala Lampur bowlers as he pocketed four wickets, while Muhammad Hafiz and Pavandeep Singh picked up three and two wickets respectively. Virandeep Singh scored the highest 22 for Kuala Lampur, while Vidyuth Kadiresan hit 17 for the winning team. Kuala Lampur will play its next match against Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia on July 14.
