“Just landed in Kathmandu. Years ago I had come here, feels so pleasant and calm here,” Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan tweeted on Monday immediately after landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu for a day’s visit.
Khan, who reached directly to Hyatt Regency to launch an environment-friendly initiative of Nerolac Paints U-Can, tried making his tweet more clear and vowed to make another trip to Nepal as soon as possible.

“It took almost 16 years for my second visit to a beautiful country Nepal and meet the lovely people here,” Khan said, adding, “Though I had a larger gap between my first and second visits, I shall certainly make my third trip here soon with all my family members.”

Emphasizing the need of the feeling of ‘service’ in people’s mind, Khan promised to live a service-oriented life ahead. “King is the one who serves others by every means and so I do. Probably because of this, people term me as ‘king’,” Khan told media on being asked why he was called King Khan.

Khan also expressed his deep respect to the crowd present there to welcome him.
