Seven more security posts added for Shuklaphanta reserve

KANCHANPUR, June 25: Additional seven security posts have been set up in Shuklaphanta wildlife reserve, which is famous for tiger and deer.



Security check posts are set up around 305 square kilometers nearby Shuklaphanta mid zone to check hunting, poaching and other illegal activities. [break]



Nepal Army (NA) squad is to be deployed in the area for security patrolling in the security posts.



New security posts have been set up in Dhakka, Malubela, Bagpani, Jonapur, Jhilmila and Piparaiya area, informed Assistant Forest Conservation Officer Hari Ram Das.



Some 1,000 NA personnel have been so far deployed in various places of the Reserve to control hunting and smuggling in the area.
