KATHMANDU, July 19: Makawanpur Police have arrested seven people with 30 kilograms of hahish in Hetauda Sub Metropolitan City-10 on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip-off, an APF team led by DSP Tribhuwan Bista arrested them with 30 bags of hashish from a hotel room.
The arrested are Bikram Syangtang and Hira Syangtang of Thapa Municipality-7, Suran Patel of Balara Rual Municipality of Rautahat, Kalam Khatum of Farahadawa Rural Municipality-8 of the same district, Nirbhaya Singh of India Lakhnau, Kalawati Devi Sah of Ram gadhwa and Mukesh Kumar Shrab of Raxual.
Police raid hashish factory in Dhading
Police have also seized a maruti van with the registration no. UP 18 AE 7405.
The arrested have confessed to the police that they were transporting the narcotics to India from the Dhading district.
