Your problems might not last any longer as the Ministry of General Administration (MoGA) is all set to introduce ´service holder´s satisfaction survey´ (SHSS program), meaning that no government client should bear unnecessary time, efforts and money to accomplish their basic tasks from state agencies.
MoGA officials informed that they are making final preparation to commence the SHSS program at 25 districts soon. The program will be introduced at District Administration, Land Revenue and Transport Management, which are the public´s most concern offices.
Under the plan, the service holders will be given two cards with four questions each to be filled up when they are at the concern government offices while emerging from the premises.
As per the plan, in the blue card, clients will be asked whether they were forced to pay unnecessary amount, to spend extra time and efforts. Clients will have to answer as whether they obtain government delivery quickly. A card also asks them as whether they are satisfied with state delivery.
According to MoGA officials, the team deployed by the ministry for the survey will recommend for those civil servants found taking bribery and bothering clients.
Under the white card, clients will be asked to furnish in writing their suggestions for the betterment and reforms of government offices.
Officials argue that the program aims at providing the government services to the client in a speedy and hassle free manner.
“To make the government employees more transparent and accountable and to provide quality government services are the key objectives of the program,” Chandra Ghimire, spokesperson at the MoGA, told myrepublica.com.
He informed that the program also aims at providing state services to the people in a cheapest and reasonable cost and no clients will be compelled to pay extra money than stated by the law.
“The program will help minimize instances of taking and giving bribery which, in our experience and information, is widely complained issue prevailing within state agencies,” Ghimire added.
The plan additionally says that the findings of the survey will be used at a time of awarding work assessments marks to the civil servants annually. “It is therefore, the result of survey is considered the most significant documents for government employees,” MoGA officials argued.
