In men´s chan chuan all-round, Bikash Rai obtained 8.05 to beat Nirajan Aale Magar, who got 7.95. However, Magar took the revenge in men´s tau shu quan shu as he scored 15.30 points to beat Rai, who got 14.80 points. In nan chuan nan quan, Raju Maharjan got 17.25 points and struggled past Sani Shrestha. Shrestha managed to score only 16.55 points.
SAG bronze medalist Alina Chaudhary thrashed Urmila Shrestha in women´s 52 kg san-sau while Jharana Gurung knocked down Chahana Lama in the very first round of 60 kg san-sau.
Bhusan Bajracharya thumped Tej Bahadur Pandit in men´s 75 kg san-sau while Mangal Prasad Tharu in 60 kg and Purushottam Rijal in 65 kg were selected unopposed in the final selection.
