Security strengthened in Siraha village citing possible violence

SIRAHA, Aug 12: Large numbers of security personnel have been deployed here in Sarshwar in the district in view of possible clashes between two religious groups, on Monday morning.



According to Anil Thakur, Chief District Officer, additional security forces have been deployed following a tip-off that some elements are planning to enter into the village with Hindu devotees as latters gather at Sarswarnath Temple on the occasion of Monday gathering.[break]



According to  Gyanu Mahato, an Inspector at district police office,  a troop of security personnel have also arrived at Sarshwar from Sagarmatha Zonal Police Office.



Similarly, a troop of Armed Security Force has been called from the Saptari, Barmajhiya-based battalion.



Meanwhile, fire fighters have also been called from Lahan, Rajbiraj and neighboring districts.
