KATHMANDU, Oct 10: The security situation throughout the country is normal and calm, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA).
Bal Krishna Panti, Spokesperson of the MoHA, told the media that adequate numbers of security personnel have been mobilized in various parts of the country to ensure peace and security during the ongoing Dashain Festival.
According to the Spokesperson Panti, the security personnel were at constant contact with the headquarters in Kathmandu and assessing and updating the security situation from all quarters of the country.
Furthermore, the MoHA shared that a landslide occurred in Aabukhairini in Tanahu district last night was cleared by the Monday morning to ensure smooth traffic flow.
The Ministry has also deployed separate teams of security personnel in various disaster-prone zones for the prompt respond to disasters
