NAWALPARASI, May 11: The Indian security forces have adopted high alertness at various places along the Nepal-India border in Nawalparasi district in view of the Lok Sabha (parliamentary) elections in India.
The security has been beefed up along the border area as the Bihar state of India prepares for the Lok Sabha elections on May 12. Security has been tightened at Thuthibari, Guthi Prasauni, Bishnapura and Bhujahawa transit points on the border in west Nawalparasi.
Similarly, security has been made foolproof at the Tribeni transit point in the eastern Nawalparasi. Security checking has been intensified especially on the border entry points from India.
The personnel of Indian Police and Seema Surakshya Bal (SSB) are deployed at the border points. The Lok Sabha election is taking place in Bihar on May 12 and in Uttar Pradesh on May 19. RSSa
