KALIKOT, August 25: A Karnali Province level open volleyball tournament will be held on 26th September. Karnali Province has the biggest prize money in this competition so far. The competition will be organized by Lingasaini Youth Club.

With the main slogan of 'sports, tourism, culture for development, development for society', the organizing committee informed the press conference that the Karnali Province level open volleyball tournament will start on 26th September. After opening the competition on the 26th, it will run until the 29th September. President of Lingasaini Youth Club, Hikmat Jung Malla said at the press conference that this competition has the biggest prize money in the entire Karnali Province.

Malla said that in the province level open volleyball tournament, there are trophies and medals along with the first prize of 200,000 rupees and the second prize of 100,000 rupees.

During the coronavirus pandemic, Lingasaini Youth Club also distributed health materials from relief work. The Lingasaini Youth Club, which is involved in various social activities, conducted a province-level open volleyball tournament in 2019 as well. Players from 10 districts of Karnali Province participated in the tournament. The club, which has not been able to conduct competitions for two years due to the pandemic, is going to hold a province -level open volleyball competition this time.

Nine competitions have been conducted by Lingasaini Youth Club in Kalikot so far. The club has also decided to give remuneration to the players who played for the host's team as an incentive. In the past, food and lodging arrangements were made for the players, but this time, it is said that even if they win or lose, some money will be provided to the players as remuneration.
