Search committee formed to appoint new VC at KU

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: A search committee has been formed to appoint a new vice-chancellor (VC) at Kathmandu University.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will appoint a new VC at the university on the recommendation of the search committee.

The current Vice-Chancellor Dr Ramkantha Makaju Shrestha who has been in the post for the past eight year is vying for a third term.

The university leadership has been in a deep controversy for several years.
