School principal succumbs to bullet injuries (Update)

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Rupesh Saraf, the principal of Bal Ekta English Boarding School in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-6, who was wounded in a shooting, succumbed to his bullet injuries.

Saraf was shot at by an unidentified group while he was on his way to Kalaiya Bazar from the school, in front of Shree Panna Devi Kanya Higher Secondary School. The gunshot left Saraf with chest injuries.

He lost his life while undergoing medical treatment at a hospital in Birgunj.

Meanwhile, a team, headed by Bara Superintendent of Police (SP) Suresh Kafle has arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.
