Min Bahadur Khadka, the principal of Kuntadevi Primary School located in Bilandu VDC of the district, was thrashed by the gang, according to Chief District Officer Phanindra Mani Pokharel.
Suspecting that the beating might have fractured his bone, he was airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment on Thursday.
Khadka was beaten up while he was returning home from school. Police suspect Maoist involvement in the attack.
