School building built with Indian assistance inaugurated in Kapilvastu

KATHMANDU, July 8: A school building has been built with the assistance of the Indian government in Kapilvastu district. 


First Secretary of the Embassy of India in Kathmandu Karun Bansal inaugurated the school building of Shree Secondary School, Buddhabhumi Municipality in Kapilvastu District on Thursday.

The school was built with the grant assistance from the Indian government at the cost of Rs 34 million under India-Nepal Development Programme in Education Sector.


Member of federal parliament from Kapilvastu-2 Brijesh Kumar Gupta, District Coordination Committee Chief Baburam Acharya and Mayor of Buddhabhumi Municipality Keshav Shrestha were among those present during the event. This is one of the projects being inaugurated this year as part of "India@75 Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav '' celebrations which commemorates 75 years of India’s independence, according to a press statement issued by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.
