The department has brought the scheme for around 300,000 children who are out of schools due to poverty and other problems. Under the scheme, each student will receive Rs 800 cash or education materials worth Rs 800, according to the department.
The department has already released Rs 500,000 to Rs 700,000 to every District Education Office across the country to implement the scheme.
