KATHMANDU, Aug 18: The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued a stay order on the incumbent government's decision to withdraw the recommendation of 14 individuals for ambassadors in various countries.
Oli government on April 19 had nominated 13 individuals having political background and eight joint secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Nepal's ambassadors to 21 different countries. A few days later, the government had recommended Sharmila Parajuli Dhakal as the ambassador to Oman.
