KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The Supreme Court on Sunday issued a show cause order in the name of defendants asking why the students of private schools are not eligible for scholarship to be provided by the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB).

The Guardians´ Association of Nepal had filed a writ petition naming the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Education, Education Department and HSEB as the defendants last Friday, demanding that even the students at private schools be eligible for the HSEB scholarship.
