KATHMANDU, Jan 25: The hearing of the case related to the citizenship dispute of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has been scheduled for Friday.
The case was scheduled for a hearing again on Friday as the arguments of Lamichhane’s lawyers and the public prosecutors could not be completed during the hearing on Wednesday.

The final hearing of the case started on Wednesday at the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court.
Questioning Lamichhane's eligibility to be a member of parliament, advocate Rabiraj Basaula and others had filed a petition on December 14 demanding the cancellation of Lamichhane's position as MP.
The constitutional bench of the apex court held a hearing on December 21 and discussed the issue of whether or not to issue an interim order on January 6. The bench had fixed a full hearing for January 25.
