Writ petition filed against Rabi Lamichhane
Province Assembly member of Nagarik Unmukti Party, Laxman Kishor Chaudhary, had filed a writ petition against the appointment of Chief Minister Sodari on April 21.
Sodari is the parliamentary party leader of CPN (Unified Socialist).
He filed the writ petition after Province Chief Najir Minya scrapped both candidates'- Laxman Kishor and Kailash Chaudhary- claim for Chief Minister following the resignation of then Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shahi.
Province Chief Minya later appointed Sodari as Chief Minister, which prompted Laxman Kishor to file the writ petition.
