KATHMANDU, Dec 7: The Supreme Court has ordered to send Motibabu Shah to jail in connection with the murder case of Aarti Shah of Janakpurdham.
A division bench of Justices Nahkul Subedi and Til Prasad Shrestha issued the order to send Aarti Shah's husband to jail on Wednesday. Additionally, a bail of Rs 100,000 has been sought from Aarti Shah's father-in-law.
Previously, the Janakpur High Court had granted bail, leading to the release of Aarti Shah's father-in-law and husband. Both individuals were currently not in custody.
In response to perceived injustice, Aarti Shah's family had initiated sit-ins at Maitighar Mandala, advocating for justice in the case.
