KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the government not to implement its decision of opening foreign investment in the agriculture sector for now.
The apex court on Wednesday issued an interim order directing the government not to implement the decision immediately.
The order was issued by the single bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma.
Earlier, advocate Punya Prasad Khatiwada had filed a writ petition against the government’s decision of opening foreign investment in agriculture sector.
