Yadav is the second justice after the chief justice to disclose property details. Chief Justice Ram Prasad Shrestha had nearly two weeks ago had disclosed his property details which was an unprecedented move in Nepal´s judicial history.[break]
According to the document made public by Justice Yadav through SC website www. supremecourt.gov.np, he possesses about five kattha (0.42 acres) land in Laukahi of Sunsari and 7 ana (0.05 acre) land in ward no. 14 of Lalitpur.
He said that his wife possesses two and a half story house in Rajbiraj and around five bigaha (8.37 acres) of land.
Yadav has a gold ring and a chain. "I have taken out Rs 300,000 from the provident fund but have not invested money in either share or in insurance," reads the document. He has also mentioned that he already taken out Rs 400,000 from Citizen´s Investment Trust. He has however, not mentioned where the money has been invested.
Yadav has a godown and single shutter shop area on his land at Laukahi. Yadav became judge in 2048 BS.
