Saraswoti finished tied with United Youth Club at six points after the defeat but still won the league organized by the Nepal Football Association (NFA) on superior goal difference of four to United Youth’s minus three.
Another football association All Nepal Football Association had also organized ‘B’ Division league earlier this year promoting Swoyambhu Youth Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Bansbari Youth Club and Koilapani Pole Star Club of Nawalparasi to the ‘A’ Division.

A-Division League Football: Army defeats Saraswoti
Akash Chhantyal scored in the 40th and 82nd minutes for BBC after Diwas Gurung opened scoring in the 38th minute while Yogesh Gurung netted the consolation goal for Saraswoti in the 52nd minute.
BBC finished fourth with four points after this victory while Bouddha Football Club finished at bottom with just one point.

Saraswoti, which was relegated back to the ‘B’ Division after just one season in 2063, bagged Rs 100,000 along with the title. United Youth Club got Rs 50,000, BBC Rs 35,000 and Bouddha Rs 20,000. The four teams had already qualified for ‘A’ Division after the first round of the league.
