In the match held at Campachaur, Narayangadh, Ashim Jung Karki netted the decisive goal for Sankata in the fading moments as the match was heading toward draw.

As the match was expected to be decided in extra time, Ashim Jung Karki netted the decisive goal in the stoppage time stunning MMC. The freekick taken by Ashim was the turning point of the match. He was declared the man-of-the-match and rewarded with a purse of Rs 10,000.
