Shekhar Golcha, managing director of Him Electronics - Samsung´s authorized distributor in Nepal, and Seung Koo Kim, senior vice president of Samsung, jointly unveiled different models of Samsung UHD TV and refrigerators amid a function on Wednesday.[break]
Samsung UHD TV S9 is available in 65-inch and 55-inch variants with 8 million pixels that intend to bring out incredibly intricate and clearly detailed picture quality, Him Electronics said in a statement. “The new TV boasts of high picture quality, 3D performance and sound quality and features revolutionary voice command recognition system and intuitive motion sensing,” the statement added.
Samsung UHD TV also features a technology that changes channel or the volume merely by waving hands or saying ´Hi TV´.
The Samsung UHD TV S9 is priced in the range of Rs 750,000 to Rs 800,000.
Similarly, Samsung 3050 series refrigerators use LED lights instead of digital inverter compressor enabling minimum consumption of electricity. The Samsung 3050 series features cool packs on both sides, along with the moist fresh zone, to keep the food frozen and fresh for eight hours, the statement said.
Speaking on the occasion, Kim said the 3050 series refrigerators have been designed basically targeting the market of Nepal and India.
Samsung offers 10-year warranty on the purchase of the refrigerator. The 3050 series refrigerators are priced between Rs 33,000 and Rs 45,000.
