KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy A8 smartphone in Nepal. Issuing a statement on Monday, the company said the A8 delivers exceptional performance and provides 'an optimum convergence of style and cutting-edge technology'.

According to the company, the new phones feature 5.7-inch Full HD Super Amoled displays and at 5.9 mm are the slimmest Galaxy phones equipped with a narrow bezel.
Similarly, the Galaxy A8 sports a 16-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel front camera with f1.9 lenses on both the cameras for brighter pictures. The phones are powered with 1.8/1.3 GHz Octa Core processors with 2 GB RAMs which ensure managing of multiple tasks, Samsung said.Likewise, the device has an in-built memory of 32 GB. Phone memory is expandable to 128 GB.
Galaxy A8 runs on a 3,050 mAh battery.

Sthapit said the Galaxy A8 is available at Rs 53, 900 in the domestic market.
