Yakub Rai emerged the hero for Samajik scoring the all-important goal in the 64th minute. It was Samajik´s third win in six matches and lifted the team two spots to sixth with 10 points. [break]
Meanwhile, Shree Kumari remained unchanged in the second place with 11 points, two points behind leader Tusal Youth Club that also has a match advantage over Shree Kumari.
In another match, Bivek Limbu and Santosh Ghale scored a goal each before the interval as Mahabir Studies and Athletics Association defeated Satdobato Youth Club 2-1. Limbu opened the scoring in the 27th minute and Ghale doubled the tally in the 42nd minute. Suraj Bista pulled one back for Satdobato in the 58th minute.
The win lifted Mahabir one spot to fifth with 10 points from five matches. Satdobato remained unchanged in the 11th position with four points.
Meanwhile, Kathmandu Club failed to earn point in its sixth match as well as it was defeated 3-0 by United Youth Club. Sujit Budhathoki, Nakesh Raut, and Binod KC were on target for United in the 22nd, 56th and 78th minutes respectively.
Kathmandu lies in the 13th place while United leapfrogged four places up to seventh with nine points.
