Sajilo School Manager is web based school management software system developed by Eton Technologies which can be directly connected to mobile application. Developed with an objective to bridge the gap between school authority and the parents to improve the school management system, this web based school management system is currently being used by more than 50 schools in Nepal.

It is developed in highly secured platform of Laravel. It uses the innovative features of Google drive to store the school’s data. The school management software is directly connected to mobile app which is used by school staff, students and parents. 

School can send any kinds of push notifications to any staff, students or parents at real time directly to their mobile phone without extra additional cost unlike the SMS system. This notification could be from last minute crisis notifications to regular activities information. 

“This system will help parents check financial statement and as well as academic status of their children despite living far away or being busy simply through their cell phone,” said Roshan Limbu, one of the developers of Sajilo School Manager.

“Most parents struggle to make it to the bus stop early in the morning or get worried when bus doesn’t drop their children at home on time. They call school for this but how can school authority know where the bus is but now through this system parents can easily check the location of the school bus and manage their time according to it,” added Limbu.

Content Management System (CMS)
With the help of this software school can create their own website with unlimited number of web pages and menus. This will enable the school authority to manage, edit or delete the content of the website.

Multiuser account role
Super-admin can create unlimited number of staff log-in individually with the help of this feature. This will make work division between librarian, teachers, and other admin staffs easy as they will have their own account to update information on the website.

Student’s profile system
 This feature will allow school authority to monitor all activities of students like payment history, library history, attendance and many more. This feature will also allow the super-admin to send direct notification to parents.

Daily routine
Through this feature parents and students can view the daily updated routine by school in their cell phone which will save time of both parents and students of having to go through the school dairy. 

Exam manager
School can create exam routine through this feature. Once exam is conducted and obtained marks are updated in the software, super-admin can generate all progress reports in one click. Parents and students can view exam routine and progress report in their cell phone.

Library manager
Librarians can maintain book logs through this feature easily. Through this they can view number of books available in the library and number of books burrowed by the student. This feature can also be used to send notification to students who have failed to return the book.

Hostel manager
This feature will make it easy to manage hostel by categorizing the hostellers and automatically updating their monthly fee.

Billing manager
Accountant can create the data of monthly fee according to the class and the section of student through this feature. Payments can also be accepted in the software and once payment history is updated or generated parents can view the payment history of the children in their cell phone.

Attendance manager
This feature will allow the teachers to take the daily attendance via their cell phone. Once the attendance is updated, absentees or late student’s parents will get automated notification on their cell phone about the status in real time. 

Events manager
Once the event is updated in the software, then the whole school staff, parents and students are notified via push notification system at real time. Events can also be auto updated in the school calendar. Super-admin can also choose to send the push notification to targeted students or parents accordingly.

Internal messaging system
This feature will make the communication between the school authority and parents easy and effective. Parents and teachers can start communication directly over the mobile phone at any time without parents having to set the appointment for meeting. All the conversation can be monitored by super-admin. 

Staff request manger
With this easy to use feature, teachers and staffs can ask for any kind of request to the school administrator directly from their phone. At the end of the year, super-admin can review all the leave requests and other requests made by each staff for better evaluation.

Crisis notification system
With this feature, super-admin or any appointed staff can send crisis notification to the whole school or targeted teachers, parents and students on their phone at real time.

Transportation manager
Through this feature students and parents can view real time location and average speed of respective school bus in their cell phone. 

Study materials manager
With the help of this feature students and parents can download the list of respective assignment through their phone.  

Robust SMS and push notification system
School can notify parents, students and staff with inbuilt push notification system for free. When the push notification is out of reach, school can always notify to targeted people via SMS directly to the user’s phone in real time.
