Rudra Neupane, managing director of Run Shoes, said the company has been established to cater to the needs of Nepali customers who long for stylish yet affordable shoes. [break]“The demand for stylish shoes of new designs is growing in the market. We started a new company as no existing companies produce shoes good enough to satisfy customers,” said Neupane.
The company will initially introduce casual, party and sports shoes for men and children and college shoes. It will start producing ladies shoes after a year. Price of these shoes ranges from Rs 600 to Rs 1,500 a pair, according to Neupane.
“We are planning to manufacture 6,000 pairs of 50 different models initially. We will increase production as per the market demand,” said Neupane.
Run Shoes has manufacturing unit at Pepsicola Town Planning and has sales office in New Road. It plans to open exclusive outlets throughout the country in the near future. Besides, its products will be available in all leading retail stores, according to Neupane.
“Our products will be attractive, fashionable and durable as we use quality raw materials,” Neupane said, arguing that customers who are tired of non-durable and low quality shoes will get a good alternative in the form of Run Shoes.
Run Shoes will provide six months warranty on all its models. It is providing employment to around 100 people.
