Rumjatar enters TAAN final

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Rumjatar United entered the final of the Third TAAN Martyrs Memorial Football Tournament being held in Baruneshwar of Okhaldhunga.

In the first semifinal played on Tuesday afternoon, Rumjatar recorded a convincing 3-0 win over Parijat Youth Club. Anuj Shrestha was on target twice for Rumjatar and Bikram Nepali scored another goal. 

In Thursday's final, Rumjatar will meet the winner of the second semifinal between Manebhanjyang Youth Club and Pragatishil Youth Club scheduled for Wednesday. 

Earlier, in the fourth quarterfinal match played on Tuesday morning, Manebhanjyang defeated Friendship Youth Club A 4-2. 

The event is being organized by Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN) as part of youth development program in major trekking areas of the country.
