KATHMANDU, Jan 1: A joint panel of ruling political parties is meeting Thursday morning to make consensus among them on formation of commissions and committees as provisioned by constitution and past agreements. According to Rajendra Mahato, chairman of Sadbhavana Party and Minister for Supplies, the meeting will reach an agreement to form the commissions, among others on forced disappearance and state restructuring, and give full shape to land reforms commission. The leaders are also going to discuss the issues of other political appointments. The cabinet is expected take decisions on such appointments based on this panel´s recommendations.
