KATHMANDU, Oct 27: The ruling five-party alliance is to support Janamukti Party candidates in Rupandehi constituency no. 2.
According to a statement signed by the four top leaders of the alliance, a decision has been taken to support Janamukti Party candidate Keshav Bahadur Thapa as a common candidate of the alliance.
Earlier, Raju Gurung of CPN (Unified Socialist) Party was nominated on behalf of the ruling coalition in Rupandehi-2. However, Gurung was disqualified for the elections and hence the alliance decided to support Thapa.
