RSP to gather suggestions from 51 locations to prepare party’s documents

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is going to collect suggestions from 51 villages to prepare party documents. The initiative aims to incorporate diverse perspectives from various geographic and community backgrounds, including the Himalayan, Terai, and mountain regions, by directly engaging with citizens.

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is going to collect suggestions from 51 villages to prepare party documents. The initiative aims to incorporate diverse perspectives from various geographic and community backgrounds, including the Himalayan, Terai, and mountain regions, by directly engaging with citizens.


Each of the 17-member team formed by the party will visit three different locations and gather suggestions. However, the specific locations and time for gathering suggestions have not finalized yet.

According to General Secretary Mukul Dhakal, suggestions will be collected from 51 places, depending on geography and community. During the collection of suggestions, there will also be interaction with the local residents.


While choosing the place where suggestions will be collected, preparations are being made to select 51 villages so that there are no two places in the same district. Manish Jha, a member of the document preparation committee, has been given the responsibility of determining the locations to ensure diversity in geography and community.


The team members are restricted form going to their home area while they are deployed to gather suggestions. The delegation has already completed one stage of work in preparing the documents. We have already discussed about the party’s political opinion and the policies," Ganesh Karki, a member of the document preparation committee, said.


During the preparation of the 'New Era Resolution' document, each  delegation members have to spend five days in one place and visit three places. Since three villages have to be reached, a period of 15 days has been fixed.


A team of 17 people was formed in mid-June to decide the policy after the document presented by General Secretary Dhakal in the party meeting got into controversy on May.


The team formed to prepare the documents include the leaders Mukul Dhakal, Kabindra Burlakoti, Santosh Pariyar, Swarnim Wagle, Shishir Khanal, Sobita Gautam, Sumana Shrestha, Manish Jha, Toshima Karki, Ganesh Karki, Hari Dhakal, Ramesh Prasain, Kamal Subedi, Ganesh Parajuli, Bipin Kumar Acharya, Krantishikha Dhital, and Shankar Shrestha.
