RSP sacks Sudurpaschim General Secretary Paras Bahun

KATHMANDU, Aug 30: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has dismissed Paras Bahun from his position as the Sudurpaschim Province General Secretary of the party.

RSP Sudurpaschim Province Chairman Prakash Bista relieved Bahun of his responsibilities on Thursday, citing various activities that made the organization and leadership uncomfortable and unsuccessful.

Earlier, on August 26, the RSP had asked Bahun for an explanation within 72 hours. Bahun provided a response, however, Bista dismissed him, effective from Thursday, stating that the explanation was not satisfactory.

Bahun was appointed as the Sudurpaschim Province General Secretary of the RSP on November 29, 2023.
