RSP holding parliamentary party meeting today

KATHMANDU, Aug 25: A meeting of the Parliamentary Party (PP) of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is scheduled to be held at 5PM today. Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar stated there will be a discussion on the agenda including whether to vote for the post of chairpersons of the thematic parliamentary committees.

Elections are being held on August 28 for the selection of the chairpersons of the parliamentary committees. The major parties have already agreed to share the chairmanships of the committees. As the process of selecting the chairpersons will start from August 27, a meeting of the RSP’s PP is going to be held to form the opinion of the party on the matter.

RSP Chief Whip Pariyar said that the party's resolution proposal, the latest activities of parliament and other issues will also be discussed in the meeting.
