According to MoLD secretary Krishna Gyawali, they submitted a document at the MoF seeking approval for disbursing budgets for the ongoing projects including the one recommended by the Remote Area Development Committee.

"If the MoF approves the request before the current fiscal year expires, the amount will be disbursed to the District Development Committees of the 12 remote districts," Gyawali said.

The remote districts are Achham, Humla, Jumla, Mugu, Kalikot, Darchula, Bajhang, Dailekh, Bajura, Mustang, Jajarkot and Rukum. The money will be spent on bridge construction, irrigation, and rural roads among other sub-sector projects.
