RPP wins in former PM Chand's ward

BAITADI, May 15: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won in the ward of former Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand.

BAITADI, May 15: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has won in the ward of former Prime Minister Lokendra Bahadur Chand.


In Surnaya Rural Municipality-2, RPP's Ganesh Bahadur Bista along with the panel won with 300 votes. His nearest rival, independent candidate Harka Pandey, got 238 votes.

Similarly, Nepali Congress' Krishna Bahadur Pandey got 150 votes while Purna Bahadur Bista of Maoist Center got 155 votes. Earlier, RPP had won the local level election of 2074 BS in the ward. In this ward, UML and RPP had collaborated for the election.
