KATHMANDU, May 1: Rastriya Prajatantra Party has decided to withdraw its support to the Pushpa Kamal Dahal led coalition government.



According to central committee member Sushil Kumar Shrestha, the meeting of the Central Working Committee on Monday decided to withdraw the support to the government.

Shrestha said that RPP is committed to participate and support the election process and support the constitution amendment despite withdrawing the support to the government.


Shrestha informed that the party took the decision after the major parties in the ruling coalition registered impeachment motion against the Chief Justice Sushila Karki harming the independence of the judiciary.
