RPP President Rajendra Lingden elected from Jhapa-3

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-3.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-3.


Lingden was elected as a HoR member with 40,648 votes. His closest rival Krishna Prasad Sitaula of Nepali Congress received 37,372 votes.

Lingden was supported by CPN-UML while Sitaula was supported by the ruling coalition parties.
