KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The internal dispute within Rastriya Prajantra Party (RPP) has been resolved finally.
Organizing a press conference here in the capital on Thursday, top leaders of the RPP claimed that the long pending disputes ended with its senior leaders agreeing to take the leadership on rotational basis.

According to the agreement, incumbent party Chairman Pashupati Sumsher Rana has agreed to hand over the RPP leadership to Lokendra Bahadur Chand. Chand will lead the party for next eight months. Then Chand will make way for Rana to lead the party for another eight months. Senior leader Prakash Chandra Lohani will replace Rana for the party leadership for next eight months. Lohani will hold the party's general convention which will elect the new leadership.
As per the understanding, Rana will call the party's central working committee meeting within a week and hand over the leadership to Chand.
