RPP forms parliamentary committee

Kathmandu, September 13: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has formed a parliamentary committee under the leadership of its Chairman Rajendra Lingden.



Party leader Rajaram Shrestha informed Republica that the committee has been formed to select the names of candidates recommended from all the districts of the country for the upcoming elections.

According to the party, the candidates will be selected based on the contribution made by party leaders and workers in organizational development, activity in social work and popularity of individuals. Earlier, an election mobilization committee was formed under the chairmanship of Lingden.


Similarly, the work of formulating the manifesto for the election has reached its final stage. RPP leader Sundar Pandey said that the manifesto covers the theoretical aspects of Hindu nation, constitutional monarchy, economic, security, and foreign policy.


The statute of the party, which has conducted various political activities for the election, stipulates that the meeting of the Central Executive Committee should be held once in three months, and the meetings of other committees including the Central Working Committee should be held once a year.
