RPP Chairman Lingden off to Malaysia

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: Chairperson of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rajendra Lingden, left for Malaysia on Thursday night.

He went to Malaysia at the invitation of the RPP-affiliated Overseas Nepali Unity Society, Malaysia, to address its gathering, said RPP Spokesperson and Publicity Department Chief Mohan Kumar Shrestha. 

Lingden is scheduled to hold meetings, discussions and interactions with the Nepali community in Malaysia during his visit. 

Similarly, Lingden will address a gathering of the Kirant community to be organized by Kirant Yakthung Chumlung on January 6 as well as a gathering of Overseas Nepali Unity Society to be organized at Hotel Grand Continental on January 7. 

Likewise, the RPP chairman will meet the stakeholders including the representatives of different overseas Nepali organizations and Nepali Ambassador to Malaysia, and enquire about the problems of Nepali workers and the ongoing initiatives taken to resolve them, added RPP Spokesperson Shrestha. 

Before going to Malaysia, Lingden gave the party's vice-chair Buddhiman Tamang the responsibility of acting chairperson of the party. He will return home on January 9.
