Royals retain six players including Airee for NPL season 2

KATHMANDU, June 21: The runner-ups of the inaugural season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) Sudurpaschim Royals have retained six of their dozen domestic players for the second edition of the tournament. 


Taking to social media on Saturday, the team has announced the decision to retain its marquee player allrounder Dipendra Singh Airee along with wicketkeeper batsman Binod Bhandari, batsman Aarif Sheikh, pacer Abinash Bohara, Ishan Pandey and Naren Saud.

The team has also decided to part ways with six players which include Arjun Kumal, Naresh Budhayer, Khadak Bahadur Bohara, Bhoj Raj Bhatta, Amit Shrestha and Basant Khatri. 


The Cricket Association of Nepal has already initiated the planning for the second season of the NPL.
