KATHMANDU, June 26: The row over the rent of the residence provided by the government to former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at Bhaisetapi has been settled.
According to the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, the dispute was settled after house owner, Haribhakta Bista, received the rent for the period from mid-October 2015 to mid-July 2016 from the Office of the President, today.
Assistant Spokesperson at the Office of the President, Dhruba Prasad Acharya, said that although a cheque amount of Rs 1.23 million has been ready, the amount would be handed to the house owner Bista after he agrees on the due process as some tasks under the agreement were yet to be addressed. RSS
