The band will kick off the Australian leg of a world tour in Sydney on November 4, with stadium performances in the country’s five major cities.
Despite the line-up change — which sees Malcolm replaced with his nephew Stevie Young, and drummer Phil Rudd with Chris Slade — fans could expect a high-energy show, promoter Garry Van Egmond said.
“Both Stevie and Chris have been members of the band before. They all work really well together ... it’s going to be an incredible show,” he said.

After 41 years performing with his brother Angus in the band, guitarist Malcolm Young, 62, was forced into retirement late last year due to dementia.
Rudd’s absence from the line-up follows charges in New Zealand of threatening to kill and drug possession, for which he is due to stand trial next month.
Van Egmond said fans could expect AC/DC’s 2 hour, 15 minute show to cover greatest hits as well as songs from Rock or Bust.
